The most popular procedures are abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), blepharoplasty (eyes), breast augmentation (implants), breast reduction, breast uplift, the Define L lift™ mini face lift and body sculpting (liposuction).  We also offer non-surgical procedures at our sister Avita Medi Spa in Yarm High Street

Every member of the team is qualified in their own specific area. I am a fully qualified Royal College of Surgeons certified Plastic Surgeon on the General Medical Council Specialist Register. All our nurses are Royal College of Nursing registered with certification in aesthetic surgery or assisting in theatre. My management staff have a lot of experience in their own specialist areas.

Mr Baguley is a Royal College accredited surgeon on the GMC. He is a member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).

Most definitely yes. A detailed consultation with the surgeon who will perform your treatment is vital.

We offer surgical procedures at the BMI Woodlands Hospital and minor surgery or treatments at Define and A VITA Medi-Spa.

Some procedures are performed under general anaesthetic and some under local anaesthetic. This will be discussed at your consultation. General anaesthesia is performed by a GMC fully registered Consultant Anaesthetist, Veena Sarma, who has been working alongside Mr Baguley for 10 years.

Your care should be exemplary from start to finish. There is always someone on hand should you have any issues or problems.

Photographs are available to demonstrate the healing process of procedures. You must understand that everyone is different and your healing may be completely different to that shown.

With consent, some of our patients are happy to talk to you about the procedure.

general anaesthetic procedures are performed at the BMI Woodlands Hospital on a Monday.  Local anaesthetic procedures are performed at Define, our private clinic in Yarm, on a Thursday and Friday of alternate weeks. We do recommend a two week wait between your consultation and surgery.  If you smoke, we strongly advise that you stop smoking 4 weeks prior to your surgery

After general anaesthetic procedures, you will have two wound checks with a nurse and one follow up appointment with the surgeon.  After local anaesthetic procedures, you will have one follow up with the surgeon

This varies depending on the operation that you are having done.  This could be up to 6 weeks, depending on the surgery you have had.

We recommend that you do not fly before 6 to 12 weeks after surgery because of the risks of complications occurring while you are away and your travel health insurance may not cover you if you have just undergone surgery. There is also a risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) if you fly immediately after an operation.

If you are offered a fixed price for surgery this includes your follow-up care and complications occurring within 30 days of the procedure. Minor corrections are usually covered but occasionally there is a facility fee of £135.00 depending on the venue and length of time after the surgery.

The BMI Woodlands Hospital offer their own finance packages.
